Biography

gossip is a band that formed around March 2005 and consisted of Hiro, kaname, Kaede, UJ, and Masami. They played their first secret live at the Takabanobaba Area on March 31st 2005. Various other secret lives followed through May 9, 2005. They held birth of cult vol.1 on May 11 of that same year and continued to play lives through the months of May and June.

At the Takadanobaba AREA on June 24, 2005 Kaede left the band. He soon went on to join the band Vidoll as Shun. This failed stop the band though as they continued to play lives with support guitarist You.

On August 23, 2005, another member of the band decided to leave, the member being UJ. Junji took over as support bass for lives leading up to December 28. On December 28 JJ and Takuya join the band.

On March 26, 2006 the first mini album 'obscene' was released for pre-sale at the Shinjuku holiday/gossip sponsoring event birth of cult vol.5. The official sale for obscene was on April 12, 2006 and followed by a number of lives titled 'making the obscene'. They continued to play lives which included birth of cult vol. 6, birth of cult vol. 7, birth of party vol. 1, and birth of party vol 2.

On July 26, 2006, the first maxi single Newborn was released. The first press consisted of a DVD containing the Planned plan PV. Eventually JJ left the band and was replaced by Kousuke. The band has continued on strong despite the line up changes and on April 25, 2007 smell of skin was released. It was the first of two months of release by the band. A single was released on May 30, 2007 called butterfly. The band recently released final call on August 8, 2007.
